Teaching Public Space: An Evolving Conference Project

Below is a project I presented at the 2012 Western States Rhetoric and Literacy Conference in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.  The project includes compiling, editing, and formatting a multitude of assignments, activities, and texts into a pedagogically-friendly unit (using Adobe InDesign).  The document is available below as embedded images, and as a .pdf download.  The downloaded file is easier to read, but I included the visual version as a reference.
Through a creative activities award from the New Mexico State University Department of English, I distributed these teaching materials, along with a few supporting documents to panel attendees on USB drives personalized with the NMSU logo and my contact information.
The assignments are suited to creative and critical classrooms, and are easily adapted to fit multiple pedagogical approaches.  Re-mix and riff as you wish.
